3.26.09 Art Exhibit Supports Programs And Awareness

The Children's Study Home will have artwork of the children in their programs displayed in the Eastfield Mall during the entire month of April. Being Child Abuse Prevention Month, The Children's Study Home will be incorporating the exhibit with its support of this cause by displaying blue ribbons with the artwork, symbolizing awareness of child abuse. Beginning on the first of the month, everyone is encouraged to enjoy the exhibit located next to the Ninety-Nine Restaurant in the mall.

As part of their art program, under the direction of talented art instructor Don Blanton, students of The Children's Study Home have been able to create paintings and drawings that will be displayed during this art exhibit. The artwork will be for sale to the public and for any of their artwork sold that student will receive the amount. This month long exhibit will not only benefit the children and programs of The Children's Study Home, but will also generate awareness of Child Abuse Prevention Month with anyone who comes to experience the beautiful art display.
