8.19.09 Best Margarita in the Pioneer Valley

Who will create the `Best Margarita in the Pioneer Valley?'  That question will soon be answered.  On Thursday, September 24, A Taste of Margarita will be held to decide that.  The event will be hosted from 5 - 7:30 at the Glass Room at Elegant Affairs, 1380 Main Street, Springfield, MA.  All proceeds of the event will benefit The Children's Study Home.  

Over thirteen assorted margaritas will be sampled during the event prepared by special margarita-tenders sponsored by several restaurants, bars, businesses and organizations from the Pioneer Valley.  Each margarita sponsor will prepare their own specially named margarita and recipe.   The event is being sponsored by The Republican, MassLive, Elegant Affairs, Reminder Publications and Wolf & Co., TD Banknorth and NEPM.   Margarita sponsors include the Ad Club of Western MA, Café Lebanon, Eastfield Mall, Emerald City Travel, Hampden Bank, Champions, and JT Sports Pub.

Those interested in attending are strongly recommended to buy tickets promptly as space is limited.
