The Children's Study Home Inc. is a charitable non-profit organization dependant on donations to fulfill its mission of improving the lives of at-risk children, youth, and families. Support from our community has been essential to The Children's Study Home since its inception, and many of our programs would not exist today but for the support we receive. Our recent construction of new facilities at Mill Pond for both our school and our residence was supported by over $1.5 million in donated funds. This community effort made the project possible.
While most of our programs receive funding from government sources, those funds do not meet the demands of our clients in the community. Often, our funding leaves us with a 10-20% funding gap in meeting the critical needs of our clients. For these essential funds, we are dependant on the local community in our service area, and we generate support through special events, foundation requests and solicitations to our many supporters in the community.
