The Children's Study Home Inc. is a charitable non-profit organization dependent on donations to fulfill its mission of improving the lives of at-risk children, youth and families. Support from our community has been essential to The Children's Study Home since its inception, and many of our programs would not exist today, but for the support we receive. Construction of new facilities at Mill Pond for both our school and the SHARP I residence was supported by over $1.5 million in donated funds. This community effort made the project possible, and our community support continues to support our clients and our programs.
While most of our programs receive funding from government sources, those funds do not meet the demands of our clients in the community. Often, our funding leaves us with a 10-20% funding gap in meeting the critical needs of our clients. For these essential funds, we are dependent on the local community in our service area, and we generate support through special events, foundation requests and solicitations to our many supporters in the community.

Buy a Bear
Awareness Bears project is a fundraising activity for the Family Support programs at The Children's Study Home. By purchasing one of our Boyd's Bears with handcrafted clothing adorned with a Blue ribbon, the symbol of child abuse prevention awareness, you will help to support programs aimed at stabilizing children at risk for abuse and neglect in their homes and to support parents who are reunifying with their children.
The Children's Study Home is a nonprofit social service agency, which serves children, adolescents, and families in need of parent and family education/reunification, residential treatments in need of counseling, special education, and housing and support services. With the generosity and support of business, individuals, service organizations, and foundations, The Children's Study Home serves more than 250 children and families throughout Massachusetts.
