Director of Education
James D.Fay, M.Ed.
James D. Fay became Director of Education for The Children's Study Home in 2007. As the lead administrator for the agency's educational programs, Jim oversees program quality, compliance, and enrollment for the Mill Pond and Kathleen Thornton Schools.
Prior to joining The Children's Study Home, Jim was a veteran educator and principal for Springfield Public Schools for over 30 years. He was Principal of the Mary M. Lynch School and a mentor for new principals through the district's administrator leadership program, designating him as a "Master Principal."
Jim holds a Bachelors degree in Education and a Masters in Education, both from the Westfield State College. He is a member of the National Association of Elementary School Principals and the Massachusetts Elementary School Principals Association.
