Deputy Director
William A. Davila, MSW
Will joined the Study Home as deputy director in 2006. As deputy director, he oversees agency programs, including the Mill Pond and Kathleen Thornton Schools, the SHARP I residential program for adolescent boys, the Cottage latency residential program, Clinical Services, and Family Services.
Will has served on the board of the Massachusetts Association of 766 Approved Private Schools (maaps) and is currently on the board of directors of Partners for a Healthier Community and the Massachusetts chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), as well as the Human Service Forum's Steering Committee, in which he currently serves as Vice President.
Will holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master's degree in Social Work from Boston College. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) from the University of Hartford, with research interests in parental involvement/efficacy in children's education, politics, and nonprofit management.
