Cape Cod Programs
The Children's Study Home began providing group home treatment for Cape Cod and the Islands in 1993 with a focus on adolescent and family services. Today the program continues to work with adolescents and young adults in the Cape Cod community.
The Cape START Program (Short Term Adolescent Residential Treatment) serves the residents of Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the Islands. In 2004, services were expanded with a pilot project called Family Aftercare, Mentoring & Support (FAMS). This community based outreach service provides support for families living on Cape Cod whose child is transitioning back from out-of-home placement and youth at risk of requiring out-of-home treatment services.
The agency has been providing an innovative new service model called the Family Support Project for one year now. This program provides intensive family and community based interventions and supports focused on maintaining youth in their families or foster homes.
