Last Chance Oktoberfest Extravaganza
The Children's Study Home would like to cordially invite you to
our second fundraiser event to benefit our playground fund,
which will be held on Saturday, November 5th, 2011 beginning at
6:30 PM! The Munich Haus, located conveniently in downtown
Chicopee (always plenty of parking!), will be the host for our
Last Chance Oktoberfest Extravaganza - one last opportunity for
all to enjoy great Bavarian food, music and drink!
The ticket price is $30 per person, which includes a full buffet
dinner, music and a stein of beer as well! All proceeds from
this event will be earmarked for our playground fund. We are
working towards replacing our current playground at our Sherman
Street campus located in the heart of Springfield, MA. Our
children have enjoyed our yard since the early 1930's and our
current playground is almost 30 years old - well worn and ready
to be retired!
So, before the hustle and bustle of the holidays consume you,
why not take a Saturday evening for yourself and your loved ones
and come out to enjoy our Last Chance Oktoberfest - all while
supporting our children's own personal field of dreams - a new
playground!

Like in the old time we will have a local raised oven roasted
pig, Oktoberfest Style Chicken, Roast Pork and have Sauerbraten.
Meatballs and Sausages. There will be Späetzle,
Sauerkraut, Red Cabbage. Bratwurst, Knockwurst, and Schnitzels.
Cucumber, Rettich Salad, Obatzter, and much, much more.
A special Vienna Style Dessert Station with homemade specialties
will finish the event. Includes a stein full of beer!
