 The Young Professional Society of Springfield December Networking Event was with the ACCGS at Lexington Group in West Springfield
The Children's Study Home was the Community Spotlight of the evening and received many generous donations from attendees.

New Family Center Construction To Begin

 A press conference announcing the beginning construction of the new Family Center in Mason Square has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at The Children's Study Home, 30 Sherman Street, Springfield, MA.  During the conference a new family themed mural will be unveiled at the location.  Speaking at the event will be Steve McCafferty, Executive Director of The Children's Study Home and Mayor Dominic Sarno, Mayor City of Springfield.

94.7 WMAS Truck Load of Toys

 Friday Dec 4th from 8am-6pm 94.7 WMAS will be broadcasting live from the Target at the Enfield Square Mall and collecting toys and donations for the children served by The Children's Study Home.  Stop by and meet the DJ's and staff of 94.7 WMAS, www.947wmas.com, and bring a toy for a child in need.

Join us on Thursday, September 24, 2009 for the Taste of Margaritas event, a little competition between friends, and see who in the valley has the best margarita.  Margarita tastings will be offered by several local businesses, restaurants, bars and organizations who have created their own intriguingly delicious margarita.  Voting will take place by the end of the evening and the Best Margarita in the Pioneer Valley will be named.

July 23 FREE Books and FREE Style Fun FAMILY Night

A Family Fun night with a free book giveaway, free food to the 1st 100 people and a free craft is being held on Thursday, July 23, 2009.  The event is being held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., rain or shine at 765 State Street, Springfield, outside on the lawn of the Urban League and the Mason Square Library.  Families and children of all ages are welcomed to attend the event and receive free reading books; foods donated by McDonalds on State Street, and also work on a free craft project. This community event is being sponsored by The Children's Study Home, The Springfield City Library and the Urban League of Springfield.

June 23 The 144th Annual Meeting and Mill Pond High School Graduation

The Board of Directors of The Children's Study Home cordially invites you to the 144th Annual Meeting of the Corporation on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at the Sprague Cultural Arts Center, American International College, Springfield, MA.  A light dinner will be served. 

We are also pleased to invite you to the 2009 Mill Pond High School Graduation immediately following the Annual Meeting.  Light refreshments will be served before the ceremony.  A dessert reception will be served after the ceremony.
